Thanksgiving Eve

We started our Thanksgiving vacation a little early. Shane took the day off and the kids were out of school. We had a lazy autumn morning. We were anticipating a storm, which included a major drop in temperature, which made it especially cozy.

We have a remarkable view of this Japanese Maple right out of the living room windows.
Climbing it has become a regular part of the kiddos afternoon schedule.

Harry Potter has also become a solid part of Ty's schedule. He just finished the 2nd book, it took him 4 days.
While Ty was perched in the tree, the boss obliged Ryli with story time.
This is one of her most favorite things to do.
Then it was time for Theo to show off his figure with dad.
This guy is starting to look like his dad, and no, I'm not referring to the rolls. More of the facial profile, we're hearing that more and more these days.

Cannon was busy saving the world up in the playroom. I wasn't able to take any pictures of that, due to the sensitive nature of Super-Hero-ness.

These five people are my treasures. They define all that is good in my life. This Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for them...and cozy autumn mornings together.
